Classical guitar reach foundation of india

Samrat is very enthusiastic about the classical guitar in India. Along with fellow Indian classical guitarist Srijit Mukherjee, Samrat helped co-found the Classical Guitar Reach Foundation of India (CGRFI). CGRFI is a non-profit organisation that provides classical guitar education to selected Indian musicians on a scholarship basis. Samrat is also pursuing artistic research into investigating Eastern cultural influences in the solo classical guitar repertory for which renowned classical guitarist and composer Marco Ramelli has especially composed the solo work “Improvvisazione, Camino e Canto” (2023). Through both CGRFI and artistic research, Samrat strives to help strengthen the connection between the classical guitar and Indo-Asian cultures.
